Workshop 3 aims to encourage students to think about how to arrive at consensus within a group.

Step 1: students are provided with a series of questions about the positives and negatives of different leadership styles

Step 2: Students asked to complete the questionnaire by scoring each attribute out of 10

Step 3: Once students have calculated their scores for each group of questions, they are encouraged to identify their negotiation style, the best and the worst aspects and the limitations.

Workshop 4 aims to provide students with an opportunity to heighten their awareness of their own negotiation style and to develop an awareness of a team working together.

Step 1: Imagine they are members of a space crew scheduled to rendezvous with a mother ship on the lighted surface of the moon.

Step 2: Due to mechanical difficulties the ship is forced to land at a spot 200ls from the rendezvous spot with much of the equipment damaged.

Step 3: Rank 1 (most important) to 5 (least important) of the 15 items left intact.

Step 4: List 5 needs, 5 fears and 5 points that need attention within their group.
