LACST Lincoln Institute, Victoria In addition to teaching and research, Ann's interests lie in diverse aspects of education, community and service planning, and service development. These interests draw on twenty-five years of experience in many aspects of academic and service program development in several different countries, including Australia, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and the USA. Ann has extensive experience in research and evaluation methods and techniques across a wide range of health, education and social services. She has specific experience in survey design, program evaluation, evidence-based practice, and appreciative enquiry and is skilled in both quantitative and qualitative research methods. She has provided leadership and expertise for the development of new educational and service programs in complex environments in Australia and Asian countries often faced with few resources. Currently, she provides advice to Government, educational systems and institutions, and service agencies. |

Ann chairs the State Ministerial Council on Early Childhood Education, the Council of Methodist Ladies' College-Perth, is a Commissioner of the State Housing Commission, member of several Boards, including Therapy Focus which provides therapy services to school aged children with disabilities; a review panel within Disabilities Service Commission for services to children with Autism; and Ethics Committee for WA Branch College of General Practitioners. She is a frequent invited speaker and presenter at conferences nationally and internationally, and to community groups. |
