What is eduStream?
eduStream is the system used to give you access
to recorded lectures and other learning materials
on the Internet.
If your subject offers eduStream, you can use a
web browser on a computer to access your lectures
and other learning materials. You can use:
- a computer at the Student Central Computer Laboratories
on Wollongong campus
- for some subjects, a computer at an Education
Access Centre, or
- a home computer with local Internet access.
eduStream is available using a home computer 24
hours a day, seven days a week. Access from university
computers depends on which subject you are doing
and the opening hours of the Centre.
eduStream offers:
- audio recordings of lectures
- PowerPoint slides from lectures (most lectures)
- visual images of other materials (some lectures).
Only some subjects offer eduStream. Students in
those subjects are notified by their subject coordinator.
Students are also advised which Education Access
Centres they can use to access eduStream lectures
for their subject. Access is usually by a link from
the WebCT page of the subject - see Finding
your lectures.
